In Monday's non-league test, the Sturgeon Bulldogs (Sturgeon, MO) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, MO), by a tally of 8-3.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Northeast Bearcats (Cairo, MO) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 23. Sturgeon will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Bearcats go into the test with a 6-3 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO).

The Hornets (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Brashear (Brashear, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record.
