The Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO) softball routed the host Hermann Bearcats (Hermann, MO), 14-6 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Indians now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montgomery County for a Eastern Missouri outing on Tuesday, September 23. Van-Far will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Clopton (Clarksville, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-1.

The Bearcats (5-6) will now prepare for their test against St. James (St. James, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, St. James was routed by Pacific (Pacific, MO), 18-4, in a non-league test.
