In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Annapolis Area Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Broadneck Bruins.
The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD). The Vikings enter the IAAM A challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, St. John's Catholic Prep was beaten by Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Bruins meet the Severn Run Wolves (Severn, MD) in a Class 4A East Region I challenge, on Wednesday, September 24. Broadneck will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Annapolis (Annapolis, MD).
