West Bridgewater Wildcats (West Bridgewater, MA) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Apponequet Regional Lakers (Lakeville, MA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Case (Swansea, MA). The Cardinals come into the South Coast challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Case went down by Bourne (Bourne, MA), 3-2, in a league test.

The Lakers now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dighton-Rehoboth Regional for a South Coast test on Wednesday, September 24. Apponequet Regional will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Somerset Berkley Regional (Somerset, MA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-6.
