Nebraska High School Volleyball - Axtell can't hold off Grand Island Lutheran

In Monday's non-league match, the Grand Island Lutheran Lightning (Grand Island, NE) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Axtell Wildcats (Axtell, NE), by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Lightning clash with the Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 23. Grand Island Lutheran will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Longhorns come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE).

With the loss, Axtell drops to 6-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Giltner (Giltner, NE) to battle the Hornets in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 23. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 5-5. Giltner lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Deshler (Deshler, NE)
