The Bauxite Miners volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Magnolia Panthers to 0 in the Miners non-league triumph on Monday.

The Miners now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Mills University Studies for a 4A 5 outing on Tuesday, September 23. Bauxite will clash with a Comets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR). The Comets record now stands at 3-2.

The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR). The Badgers enter the 4A 6 match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Arkadelphia was dropped by Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 3-1, in a league match.
