In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Holliday Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Windthorst Trojans.

The Eagles (16-7) will now prepare for their challenge against City View (Wichita Falls, TX). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region I District 7 challenge with a 10-18 record. In their last challenge, City View was beaten by Henrietta (Henrietta, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Windthorst will attempt to improve on its 23-9 season record.
