The Wingers (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mayo (Rochester, MN). The Spartans go into the Big 9 battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Mayo was edged by Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Komets now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cannon Falls for a Hiawatha Valley battle on Friday, September 26. Kasson-Mantorville will encounter a Bombers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Wadena-Deer Creek (Wadena, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 9-8.
