Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI) and the host Morrice Orioles (Morrice, MI), observed Lakeville's volleyball team hold off Morrice by a count of 2-1.

The Falcons (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI). The Panthers enter the Mid-Michigan Athletic contest with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Mt. Morris was edged by Ubly (Ubly, MI), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Orioles now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bendle for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. Morrice will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Kearsley (Flint, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
