In Monday's non-league match, the Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Newton Falls Tigers (Newton Falls, OH), by a count of 3-0.

Coming up next, the Rams clash with the McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 23. Mineral Ridge will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH).

With the loss, Newton Falls drops to 8-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Liberty (Youngstown, OH) to battle the Leopards in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey contest on Tuesday, September 23. The Leopards enter the contest with a record of 3-11. Liberty lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Brookfield (Brookfield, OH)
