Indiana High School Volleyball - Mt. Vernon overwhelmed by Westfield

Westfield Shamrocks (Westfield, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN), 3-0 in a non-league outing.

The Shamrocks now have a 16-1 record. They play next when they travel to Brownsburg for a Hoosier Crossroads outing on Wednesday, September 24. Westfield will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Evansville Memorial (Evansville, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Mt. Vernon drops to 14-5 on the campaign. The Marauders travel to Triton Central (Fairland, IN) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 24. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 12-5. Triton Central won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN)
