The Woodstock Academy Centaurs volleyball squad (Woodstock, CT), dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT)

With the win, Newtown improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Joel Barlow (Redding, CT) to encounter the Falcons in a Southwest-Colonial battle on Wednesday, September 24. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Joel Barlow won 3-0 in their recent league battle against New Milford (New Milford, CT)

The Centaurs now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Waterford for a Eastern Connecticut - Large contest on Wednesday, September 24.
