The Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Wayne City Indians to 0 in the Fighting Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.

The Fighting Cardinals now have a 14-1 record. They play next when they host Carrier Mills-Stonefort for a Greater Egyptian outing on Tuesday, September 23. Norris City-Omaha-Enfield will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Hardin County (Elizabethtown, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-4.

The Indians (13-2) will now prepare for their game against Grayville (Grayville, IL). The Bison go into the Midland Trail game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Grayville gained a win over Red Hill (Bridgeport, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
