The Picayune Maroon Tide volleyball squad (Picayune, MS), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Petal Panthers (Petal, MS)
With the win, Petal improves its record to 16-12 on the season. The Panthers travel to Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 14-6. Sacred Heart won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Perry Central (New Augusta, MS)
The Maroon Tide now own a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pearl River Central for a Class 6A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, September 23.
