The Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) football defeated the visiting Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC), 35-12 in Thursday's league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC) in a bout, on Thursday, September 30. Williams will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 54-14 league win over Western Alamance (Elon, NC).
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC). The Fighting Red Wolves enter the bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Cedar Ridge lost by Person (Roxboro, NC), 44-0, in a league bout.
