New Jersey High School Football - Highland Regional overwhelms Absegami

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ) and the visiting Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ), observed Highland Regional's football squad bounce Absegami by a count of 56-0.

The Tartans now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Timber Creek Regional for a West Jersey - Memorial contest on Friday, September 30. Highland Regional will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 23-0 non-league win over Cherry Hill West (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Chargers record now stands at 5-0.

Coming up next, the Braves encounter the Oakcrest Falcons (Mays Landing, NJ) in a West Jersey - United contest, on Friday, September 30. Absegami will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 15-14 non-league win over Moorestown (Moorestown, NJ).
