In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Amanda Elzy Panthers football squad scored a big 42-6 victory over the J.Z. George Jaguars.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Edwards Tigers (Ruleville, MS) in a 3A Region 3 outing, on Friday, September 30. Amanda Elzy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 14-8 non-league loss to Rosa Fort (Tunica, MS).
