Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS), 34-23 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Franklin County improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Tylertown (Tylertown, MS) to confront the Chiefs in a 3A Region 7 test on Friday, September 30. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 2-3. Tylertown lost 56-20 in their recent non-league test against Lawrence County (Monticello, MS)

With the loss, Amite County drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to East Marion (Columbia, MS) to confront the Eagles in a 2A Region 7 test on Friday, October 7. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-4.
