Ohio High School Football - Austintown-Fitch felled by Washington

In Friday's non-league game, the Washington Tigers (Massillon, OH) football team were victorious over the visiting Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH), by a score of 49-28.

The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Middletown (Middletown, DE). The Cavaliers come into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Middletown knocked off Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE), 14-0, in a league game.

The Falcons now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Strongsville for a non-league game on Friday, September 30. Austintown-Fitch will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 55-28 non-league loss to Cleveland Heights (Cleveland Heights, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-4.
