In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Clinton Gaels football squad scored a close 34-33 victory over the Bay Path RVT Minutemen.
In their next game, the Gaels clash with the West Boylston/Tahanto Lions (West Boylston, MA) in a Midland Wachusett - D match, on Friday, September 30. Clinton will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA).
The Minutemen (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA). The Bulldogs enter the Colonial match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Montachusett RVT held off Gardner (Gardner, MA), 32-13, in a non-league match.
