In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bellevue Comets football squad scored a big 48-0 victory over the North Cedar Knights.
In their next game, the Comets clash with the East Buchanan Buccaneers (Winthrop, IA) in a A District 4 match, on Friday, September 30. Bellevue will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Buccaneers enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 48-12 league win over Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA).
The Knights (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Pirates enter the A District 5 match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Alburnett routed Highland (Riverside, IA), 55-14, in a league match.
