The Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD) football defeated the host Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD), 54-35 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Watchdogs face the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) in a Dakota 12 bout, on Friday, September 30. Beresford will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Quarriers enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 37-6 league win over Milbank (Milbank, SD).
The Orioles (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Panthers enter the Dakota 12 bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Dakota Valley defeated Madison (Madison, SD), 14-7, in a league bout.
