California High School Football - Birmingham prevails Hueneme

September 23, 2022: Oxnard, CA 93033

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) and the host Hueneme Vikings (Oxnard, CA), observed Birmingham's football squad defeat Hueneme by a count of 28-14.

The Patriots now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Taft for a West Valley contest on Friday, September 30. Birmingham will encounter a Toreadors squad coming off a 50-14 non-league win over Hawkins (Los Angeles, CA). The Toreadors record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Vikings encounter the Nordhoff Rangers (Ojai, CA) in a Citrus Coast contest, on Friday, September 30. Hueneme will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rangers go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 40-9 non-league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, CA).
