In Friday's league match, the visiting Normal Community Ironmen football squad scored a good 35-7 victory over the Bloomington Purple Raiders.

In their next game, the Ironmen clash with the Danville Vikings (Danville, IL) in a Big Twelve match, on Friday, September 30. Normal Community will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.

The Purple Raiders (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Chargers enter the Big Twelve match with a 4-0 record.
