The Robert C. Byrd Eagles football team (Clarksburg, WV), was ripped 42-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV)

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Parkersburg South trounced John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV), 55-16, in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a Big Ten challenge on Friday, October 7.
