Pennsylvania High School Football - Burrell trounces Yough

September 23, 2022: Lower Burrell, PA 15068

In Friday's league match, the host Burrell Bucs football squad scored a big 42-6 victory over the Yough Cougars.

In their next game, the Bucs clash with the Imani Christian Academy Saints (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 30. Burrell will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Saints enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 47-12 league loss to Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA).

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Rams enter the WPIAL AA Allegheny match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Ligonier Valley was crushed by Steel Valley (Munhall, PA), 48-0, in a league match.
