California High School Football - Charter Oak prevails West Covina

September 23, 2022: West Covina, CA 91791

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Charter Oak Chargers (Covina, CA) and the host West Covina Bulldogs (West Covina, CA), observed Charter Oak's football squad defeat West Covina by a count of 34-21.

The Chargers now own a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Los Altos for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 29. Charter Oak will play a Conquerors squad coming off a 24-20 non-league win over California (Whittier, CA). The Conquerors record now stands at 2-4.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Baldwin Park Braves (Baldwin Park, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 30. West Covina will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 40-27 non-league win over Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA).
