The Choctaw County Tigers football team (Butler, AL), was tipped 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Woodlawn Colonels (Birmingham, AL)

The Colonels (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Parker (Birmingham, AL). The Thundering Herd come into the 6A Region 5 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Parker was tipped by Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL), 49-28, in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southern Choctaw for a 1A Region 1 challenge on Friday, September 30. Choctaw County will meet a Indians team coming off a 32-14 non-league loss to Marengo (Dixons Mills, AL). The Indians record now stands at 1-4.
