South Carolina High School Football - Clinton knocks off South Aiken

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Clinton Red Devils (Clinton, SC) and the visiting South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC), observed Clinton's football squad thwart South Aiken by a count of 54-28.

The Red Devils now own a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Union County for a AAA Region 4 contest on Friday, September 30. Clinton will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 31-6 non-league loss to Chapman (Inman, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Thoroughbreds play the North Augusta Yellowjackets (North Augusta, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 contest, on Friday, September 30. South Aiken will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 13-7 non-league loss to Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC).
