Arkansas High School Football - DeSoto knocks off Columbus Christian Academy

The DeSoto Thunderbirds football squad scored 60 points and limited the visiting Columbus Christian Academy rams to 30 in the Thunderbirds non-league win on Friday.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hebron Christian for a MAIS 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 30. DeSoto will play a Eagles squad coming off a 49-8 league loss to Lee Academy (Marianna, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 0-6.
Coming up next, the rams play the Humphreys Academy Rebels (Belzoni, MS) in a MAIS 8-Man 2A District 1 (8 Man) battle, on Saturday, October 1. Columbus Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels go into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 45-12 league loss to Manchester Academy (Yazoo City, MS).
