New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS), 17-7 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, New Albany improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to battle the Warriors in a 4A Region 2 test on Friday, September 30. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-3. Pontotoc lost 49-7 in their recent non-league test against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS)
With the loss, Corinth drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Caledonia (Caledonia, MS) to battle the Cavaliers in a 4A Region 1 test on Saturday, October 1. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-3.
