Texas High School Football - Seguin sneaks past Corsicana

September 23, 2022: Arlington, TX 76002

The Seguin Cougars football squad scored 15 points and restricted the visiting Corsicana Tigers to 10 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everman for a 5A-2 Region II District 5 battle on Friday, October 7. Seguin will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 35-33 league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the Tigers face the Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 5 battle, on Friday, October 7. Corsicana will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Elks enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 40-22 league loss to Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX).
