The Des Moines East Scarlets football team (Des Moines, IA), was ripped 48-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Urbandale J-Hawks (Urbandale, IA)
The J-Hawks (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA). The Jaguars come into the 5A Group 6 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Ankeny Centennial trounced Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA), 31-28, in a league challenge.
The Scarlets now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sioux City West for a 5A Group 6 challenge on Friday, September 30.
