New York High School Football - Spackenkill trounces Dover

September 23, 2022: Poughkeepsie, NY 12603

In Friday's league match, the host Spackenkill Spartans football squad scored a big 54-0 victory over the Dover Dragons.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks (Tupper Lake, NY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 1. Spackenkill will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Lumberjacks enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 16-0 non-league win over St. Lawrence Central (Brasher Falls, NY).

The Dragons (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Onteora (Boiceville, NY). The Eagles enter the Section 9 8-Man - Division 2 (8 Man) match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Onteora was crushed by Pine Plains/Rhinebeck (Pine Plains, NY), 38-7, in a league match.
