Texas High School Football - Elgin knocks off Pflugerville Connally

The Elgin Wildcats football squad scored 22 points and limited the host Pflugerville Connally Cougars to 0 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Belton for a 5A-2 Region III District 11 battle on Friday, September 30. Elgin will play a Tigers squad coming off a 28-7 league win over Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Rouse Raiders (Leander, TX) in a 5A-2 Region III District 11 battle, on Thursday, September 29. Pflugerville Connally will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Raiders go into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 49-21 non-league loss to Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX).
