The Port Allen Pelicans football team (Port Allen, LA), was beaten 38-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Knights (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Ascension Catholic went down by Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA), 20-19, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Port Allen moves to 2-2 on the season. The Pelicans host University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA) to encounter the Cubs in a 3A District 6 outing on Friday, September 30. The Cubs go into the outing with a record of 3-2. University Lab won 62-0 in their recent league outing against Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA)
