Tennessee High School Football - Marion County sneaks past Forrest

September 23, 2022: Chapel Hill, TN 37034

The Marion County Warriors (Jasper, TN) football nudged the host Forrest Rockets (Chapel Hill, TN), 42-35 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Tellico Plains Bears (Tellico Plains, TN) in a 2A Region 3 bout, on Friday, September 30. Marion County will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 27-14 non-league win over Copper Basin (Copperhill, TN).

The Rockets (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cascade (Wartrace, TN). The Champions enter the 2A Region 5 bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Cascade held off Community (Unionville, TN), 46-0, in a non-league bout.
