Pennsylvania High School Football - Fort Cherry felled by Our Lady of the Sacred Heart

The Fort Cherry Rangers football team (McDonald, PA), was knocked off 40-24 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA)

The Chargers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Buccaneers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Chartiers-Houston was knocked off by Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA), 14-8, in a league challenge.

The Rangers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Canevin for a WPIAL A Black Hills challenge on Friday, September 30. Fort Cherry will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 56-0 league win over Avella (Avella, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.
