The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE) and the visiting Fullerton Warriors (Fullerton, NE), observed Palmer's football squad edge Fullerton by a count of 14-12.

The Tigers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to High Plains for a D2 District 5 (8 Man) contest on Friday, September 30. Palmer will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 44-34 league loss to Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE). The Storm record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Warriors encounter the Osceola Bulldogs (Osceola, NE) in a D2 District 5 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 30. Fullerton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 46-6 league win over Giltner (Giltner, NE).
