The Meridian Mustangs football team (Sanford, MI), was ripped 58-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI)
The Flying G's (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pinconning (Pinconning, MI). The Spartans come into the Jack Pine challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Pinconning was ripped by Beaverton (Beaverton, MI), 49-0, in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Beaverton for a Jack Pine challenge on Saturday, October 1. Meridian will meet a Beavers team coming off a 49-0 league win over Pinconning (Pinconning, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 1-4.
