California High School Football - Sierra knocked off by Golden Valley

September 23, 2022: Merced, CA 95341

Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Sierra Timberwolves (Manteca, CA), 44-21 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Golden Valley improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Central Valley (Ceres, CA) to battle the Hawks in a Central California - CCC test on Friday, September 30. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 1-4. Central Valley lost 42-21 in their recent league test against Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA)

With the loss, Sierra drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Oakdale (Oakdale, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a Valley Oak League test on Friday, September 30. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 4-1. Oakdale won 51-7 in their recent non-league test against Enochs (Modesto, CA)
