New Jersey High School Football - Mountain Lakes sneaks past Hanover Park

September 23, 2022: Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046

The Mountain Lakes Lakers (Mountain Lakes, NJ) football edged the visiting Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ), 14-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Lakers face the Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ) in a Super - American Gold bout, on Friday, September 30. Mountain Lakes will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Hillbillies enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 21-14 league loss to Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ).

The Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ). The enter the Super - American Gold bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Caldwell nudged West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ), 16-13, in a non-league bout.
