The Windward Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) football routed the host Hillcrest Christian Saints (Thousand Oaks, CA), 67-20 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Thacher Toads (Ojai, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 1. Windward will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Toads enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 34-0 non-league loss to Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA).
The Saints (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cornerstone Christian (Wildomar, CA). The Crusaders enter the Majestic (8 Man) bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Cornerstone Christian was overwhelmed by Lone Pine (Lone Pine, CA), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
