The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves football team (Lansing, IL), was beaten 22-13 in Friday's league challenge with the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL)

The Hawks (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Braves come into the South Suburban - Blue challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Bremen achieved victory over Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL), 37-6, in a league challenge.

The Red Wolves now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Evergreen Park for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 30.
