Texas High School Football - Pewitt topped by Hooks

The Pewitt Brahmas football team (Omaha, TX), was beaten 57-40 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hooks Hornets (Hooks, TX)

The Hornets (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Prairiland (Pattonville, TX). The Patriots come into the 3A-2 Region III District 10 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Prairiland achieved victory over Chisum (Paris, TX), 25-24, in a league challenge.

The Brahmas now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Redwater for a 3A-2 Region III District 10 challenge on Friday, September 30. Pewitt will meet a Dragons team coming off a 29-14 league loss to New Boston (New Boston, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 2-3.
