Louisiana High School Football - Jennings drops to Iowa

In Friday's league game, the Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) football team knocked off the visiting Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA), by a final score of 36-22.

The Yellowjackets (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Kinder (Kinder, LA). The Yellowjackets come into the 3A District 3 game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Kinder was dropped by St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA), 45-14, in a league game.

The Bulldogs now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iota for a non-league game on Friday, September 30. Jennings will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 41-0 league win over Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
