    The Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH) football defeated the host Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH), 21-7 in Friday's league bout.

    In their next game, the Blue Streaks face the McKinley Bulldogs (Canton, OH) in a Federal bout, on Friday, September 30. Lake will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 42-9 league win over Hoover (North Canton, OH).

    The Polar Bears (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against GlenOak (Canton, OH). The Golden Eagles enter the Federal bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, GlenOak defeated Green (Uniontown, OH), 31-24, in a league bout.
