The Jewell Bluejays football team (Seaside, OR), was ripped 60-19 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Triangle Lake Lakers (Blachly, OR)

The Lakers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Eddyville (Eddyville, OR). The Eagles come into the 1A Special District 2 - North (6 Man) outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Eddyville smashed Mapleton (Mapleton, OR), 56-14, in a league outing.

With the loss, Jewell moves to 2-1 on the season. The Bluejays travel to McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Special District 2 - North (6 Man) outing on Friday, September 30. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 0-3. McKenzie lost 31-20 in their recent league outing against Crow (Eugene, OR)
