Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 56-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Kings Mountain improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to battle the Jaguars in a 3A West Conference 50 test on Friday, September 30. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 3-2. Forestview won 24-21 in their recent league test against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)

With the loss, North Gaston drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to battle the Greenwave in a 3A West Conference 50 test on Friday, September 30. The Greenwave come into the test with a record of 1-4. Ashbrook lost 24-21 in their recent league test against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)
