The Twin Cedars Sabers football team (Bussey, IA), was ripped 44-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Melcher-Dallas Saints (Melcher, IA)
The Saints (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodward Academy (Woodward, IA). The Knights come into the 8-Man District 7 (8 Man) challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Woodward Academy was ripped by Grand View Christian (Des Moines, IA), 73-34, in a league challenge.
The Sabers now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Montezuma for a 8-Man District 7 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 30. Twin Cedars will meet a Braves team coming off a 52-20 non-league loss to Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Braves record now stands at 4-1.
